Grow Your Fundraiser

How to raise money this Christmas with Bradford Greenhouses’ Poinsettia Fundraising Program

The holiday season is all about giving, gathering and supporting the people and organizations that make our communities special.

If your school, sports team or community group is looking for a seasonal fundraising opportunity, Bradford Greenhouses’ Poinsettia Fundraising Program offers a festive way to work toward your goals.

For more than a decade, organizations have used our program to raise funds by selling poinsettias and seasonal greenery. With the opportunity to earn up to 50% profit, your group can turn holiday favourites into meaningful support for the year ahead.

Here’s how to get started.

1. A Festive Way to Reach Your Goals

Fundraising is about more than collecting money. It’s about bringing people together around a shared purpose.

Whether you’re raising funds for school programs, sports equipment, team travel, community projects or other organizational needs, poinsettias offer a product people already love during the holiday season.

Instead of asking supporters to purchase something they may not need, you’re offering a beautiful seasonal plant that can brighten their homes or make a thoughtful gift.

Our program is designed to help organizations get started with order forms, marketing materials and support throughout the process.

2. Earn Up to 50% Profit

One of the biggest benefits of the Bradford Greenhouses Poinsettia Fundraising Program is the opportunity for participating organizations to earn up to 50% profit through wholesale fundraising pricing.

Your final fundraising total will depend on the products selected and the applicable program pricing. Our team can provide the current pricing information to help you plan your campaign.

Before getting started, establish a fundraising goal and determine how many plants or vouchers your organization hopes to sell.

A clear goal gives your group something to work toward and makes it easier to communicate the impact of every purchase.

3. Choose Your Holiday Favourites

Poinsettias come in a beautiful range of sizes and colours, making it easy for supporters to find something that suits their home or gifting needs.

4. Choose the Fundraising Option That Works for You

We offer two ways to participate, depending on how your organization wants to coordinate sales and distribution.

Option One: Gift Card Vouchers

Looking for a convenient way to fundraise without coordinating a large plant delivery?

With our gift card voucher option, supporters receive a voucher that can be redeemed for a poinsettia at either Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery location in Barrie or Bradford.

This gives each recipient the flexibility to choose their own poinsettia, while your organization avoids having to receive and distribute a large group order.

Voucher orders must be booked in advance and are arranged through our fundraising team.

Option Two: Plant Delivery

Prefer to coordinate the plants yourself?

With the traditional delivery option, your organization collects orders from supporters, submits a combined order and arranges a pre-booked delivery or pickup.

The poinsettias arrive ready for your group to distribute to individual buyers.

This option works well for organizations that want to coordinate one central order and manage distribution within their community.

Our fundraising team can help you determine which option best suits your group.

Important to note: We deliver in Ontario only.

5. Get Started With Our Video Guides

Not everyone wants to read through a long set of instructions, and that’s why we’ve created a series of three helpful videos to walk you through the Poinsettia Fundraising Program.

Whether you’re new to the program or need a refresher, the videos provide a convenient way to learn about the process, from getting set up to receiving and distributing your order.
